This plate is from the Republic of Palau, a group of Islands in the South Pacific. This plate is from the Island of Melekeok, and despite the home-made nature it is an authentic license plate. Up until recently, island folks made plates out of whatever means they saw fit - with so few vehicles, enforcement didn't have to be that strict. On this plate, the ROP stands for Republic of Palau. Flat stencilled plates were fairly common in the Pacific Isles before proper embossed plates came along. Has the size of a standard car plate.
Nice vg condition all original. Note the wear around the upper bolt-holes making this a bonafide used plate.
