I am auctioning off some of my more highly sought after points found in the sandhills of the Desert Southwest.This Beauty is a Paleo Golondrina Point with beautifull Paleo flaking on each side! I am selling as a reproduction.Seems the AACA and ebay do not want me to tell you its an artifact,nor do they want me to tell you it has a nice patinae from age,nor do they want me to tell you they are forcing me to sell as reproductions,so I won't.I will however tell you I will provide details and provenance at request of buyer at conclusion of auction.Seems only the AACA can sell artifacts on ebay these days.Sounds kinda mafia like to me! Anyhow the Awesome Golondrina Paleo point is 1&11/16" in length by 7/8" wide.The Beautiful Paleo is in perfect condition with no breakage or chipping and is made from dark gray flint and exhibits rounded ears that flare and a concave base.Basal areas are heavily ground .These types of points are believed to be related to Dalton Points.Overstreet price guide lists similar points of lesser quality at around 40.00 to 70.00.This Point is made from more highly sought after flint type and has much nicer flaking than any listed which would increase the value from 20.00 to 30.00 more.I will start the bidding at my low reserve,so s a chance to own this awesome little Paleo!
