Bohemian, Czech, English, Continental & U.S Glass Art Nouveau & Art Deco Glass Pallme-König -Gray Threaded Amethyst Bag Cabinet Vase - Pallme-Koenig Production: Firm: Pallme-König und Habel ( in English: Pallme-Koenig ) Furnace: Elisabethhütte in Kosten, Bohemia [Right next to Teplice] Ca. 1900 The vase stands 4 1/4 inches (10.795 cm) tall The base glass is a beautiful Amethyst. The vase is irridized in Blues, Greens,and Bronzes. Polished pontil. Fire-formed rim, shaped into a Quad-fold. The vase is textured to accept the threading, which is of a light grayish-blue (orange under the outer layer.) No chips or cracks. Threading condition, excellent, t are 2 tiny tiny bumps to the threading on the main body of the vase and one chipped area of threading at the base (this last was caused at the time the bottom was ground and polished to level it - at the factory.) We make every attempt to fully and honestly describe each piece in detail. We point out any imperfection that may be of concern to the collector, such as chips, cracks or repairs.
