Bohemian, Czech, English, Continental & U.S Glass Art Nouveau & Art Deco Glass Pallme-König - Threaded Deep Amethyst Bottle Vase Production: Firm: Pallme-König und Habel ( in English: Pallme-Koenig ) Furnace: Elisabethhütte in Kosten, Bohemia [Right next to Teplice] Ca. 1900 The vase stands 8.5 inches (21.59 cm) tall The base glass is the deepest Amethyst I have seen. The vase is heavily irridized in Blues, Greens,and Bronzes. My picture does not do justice to the brightness and colors of the irridization. (It appears almost to be made of metals.) Top blown glass means no pontil. Ground and polished rim The vase is textured to accept the threading, which is also of deep Amethyst No chips or cracks, (t is a slight amount of roughness to a few spots of the threading which is very typical of the threaded glasses.) The glass can contain imperfections from the factory that are commonly known, such as seeds, bubbles, and dimples in the glass. Sometimes pieces are not perfectly symmetrical. Keep in mind, much of the glass we offer is 50 to 150 years old. Please don't expect a piece to look like something you just bought yesterday at Macy's, although, more times than not, pieces are often described as better than thought in our feedback! We make every attempt to fully and honestly describe each piece in detail. We point out any imperfection that may be of concern to the collector, such as chips, cracks or repairs. Shipping: * Currently we ship to the U.S., Canada, Australia and EU Member Nations only. * US Customer pays flat shipping charges - which includes the actual shipping, INSURANCE and Delivery Confirmation for the item. If item is quite large and requires special packaging or is going to Hawaii or Alaska the fees will, of course, be higher. * Customers in Canada, Australia and EU Member Nations please wait for your PayPal invoice, I will get actual USPS shipping amount with insurance and apprise you of it on invoice. * We ship USPS Priority.
