I am the original and only owner .In the summer of 1967, between my junior and senior years of high school, I lived and, thanks to my late father, worked in Panama City. It was a tremendous learning experience, which is exactly why my parents were kind enough to provide it to me.I don't recall where in Panama I purchased this handmade Mola. In rereading letters I wrote home that my mother kept, perhaps in "Nombre Di Dios" or "St Isabel" which, according to my July 12, 1967 letter, "are about 150 miles north of the city of Colon.I listed it as "New", because when I returned home, my mother had it encased in this 24 1/2 inch x 22-inch frame. My Collectibles and Memorabilia is not a business . When my wife and I retired late last year, we decided to sell selected collectibles and memorabilia and spend the proceeds while we still can.Why $ 54.95? Please see the Panamanian Molas that have recently sold on Ebay, particularly the framed Mola that sold for $65.00Shipping via UPS Ground is estimated to be between 12.00 and change and 16.00 and change. Is $14.00 fair?Thank you for your consideration.
