PANASONIC RX-5050 boombox GHETTOBLASTER equalizer You are bidding on a Panasonic boombox, model RX-5050. This is a classic that sounds great, but needs some help to be perfect. I plugged it in and the stations came in good, clear, very little static when tuning or turning up the volume. The tape player also works and records. The only issues are the left/right speaker button does not appear to be working, the left speaker cover is cracked, and the antenna is broken off. The radio has a 4 band equalizer, 6 led meter/ 2 way, 4 speaker system, and it also has 3 mode/beatproofs: Ambience, Stereo and Mono. The tape selector plays Metal, CrO2 and normal tapes. One more item of interest, the radio is dusty and came from a home of a smoker, so t is some yellowing. The radio has not been taken care of very well, radio works great, tape player works, but I would guess it will need a cleaning to be perfect. Because of the issues, the radio probably needs a good cleaning, and you are buying AS-IS. Please email if you have any questions or would like additional photos. Thank you and God Bless.
