late 19th or early 20th century. A highly polished oblong tapered vase rising from a squat foot with a narrow, flared neck, and decorated with four different panels, each with a different bird--one a white egret, two with finches, and one with a hawk, the top and bottom rims edged with silver. Marked on the bottom within a reserve SILVER; 5` high.
