Up for offer is an extremely finely woven pectoral, albeit hardly ancient pectoral from Papua New Guinea. Upon first glance I didn't think much of this item but then I noticed how ridiculously finely woven it was I did a double take. Also interesting for the transition between a traditional bilas (body adornment) and the use of natural materials (pig tusks, nassa shells, job's tears) contrasted with plastic and cotton rope. Again, the weaving is extremely fine and tight. 7" span. Shipping will be $8 to the US.
