What a fabulous collection of vintage, English, hand painted tea cups and saucers I have purchased this week, each listed with no reserve and a reasonable opening bid! Teacups are my specialty so keep an eye on define26 as I add new listings weekly! To see all of my items please . This auction is for a 1950s Paragon pink, white, yellow and purple mums (or are they zinnias?) pattern, richly gilded English bone china cup and saucer which are: in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs each piece rings clearly when pinged the gilding is in excellent condition throughout. The cup measures 5 in. wide including the handle and is 2 ¾ in. tall; the saucer is 5 ½ in. in diameter. This set features large mum (zinnia?) blooms which fill the cup bowl and saucer surface, while the edges are dusted in rich, best gold. The background is a pale, soft pastel green - very decorative. Thick, heavy gold covers the handle and high footed base. Please check out my other auctions for more fine English vintage teacups!
