RARE C Pardee Tile Hand Painted Arts Crafts NICE Grueby Hello bidders. Up for bid today is a hard to find C Pardee Works tile. This is an estate fresh tile that came along with some other very interesting tiles. This is a hand painted tile with an impressionistic scene of a lake and trees. Signed in the lower right hand corner of the tile G.S.B. Tile measures 6" x 6" and 1/2" thick. Signed to the rear "The C Pardee Works" and the number 33. The tile has crazing on the front that appears as if could be cleaned by soaking. T is a shallow chip to the top left hand corner shown in the photos. T are other nicks on the edge of the tile but none are bad. All little chigger bites. Some nibbles to the back of the tile. The edge of the tile is in black rather than natural clay color. Piece is being sold as is. This piece would look great in a mission oak frame, with a frame on this you could not see any damage at all. Neat piece from a company you just don't see very often.
