pair of rca silver label made in USA. gm is around 2500/2600. same structure and the same tube. ..paralle big flate plate black plate. tall stubby full base bottome chrome . They are good warm sounding. Very good for female vocals.
I am selling all my 6SN7 driver tubes that I have collected for the last 15 years. I have gone through alot of 6SN7s from various manufacturers and variations. I had a DIY 300B tube amp with the 6SN7 as the driver. I have now moved on to higher efficiency speakers and now playing with different types of tube amps. I need to raise funds for my other tube projects. These are all my keepers. 90% of them test 2300 or better out of 2600 on Hickok 539c tester. If you are so precise and what me to retest them for you, I can after the auction. (After all these years, I realize emission/gm have little meaning as long as the tube is in the good range. It is the sound that matters. If you want good gm and strong emission, then get the russian or chinese tubes, they are measure so much better on paper) For the rest of 10% that are around 1900-2300/2600, I kept these because they sound either very warm or slow or very musical. Most of them are used. I usually purchase lots of them locally and on ebay and start weeding out the ones that are weak or doesn't sound good. I have gone through hundreds and hundreds of 6SN7s to distill down to these 100 or so tubes. I have tested all these tubes and they sound different in each of their ways...they are musical and warm. Your hearing may different from mine, but one thing for sure is they don't sound like modern production tubes. In comparison to the modern harsh, sharp, and tiring 6sn7s, these are much more relaxed and easy on your ears plus they are just musical....makes you want to get up and dance to the beat or hum along. If you are not happy with the tubes you purchased. Send it back and I will refund your money minus shipping. As long as you didn't damage them and the tubes come back to me the way I sent it to you, I will refund your money minus shipping charges. You have 3 days to do this after receiving the tubes. These are not AS IS or JUNK tubes. You may be buying other 6SN7s cheaper but they are as is or whatever. I stand behind these tubes. Shipping is actual postage plus $1. If you buy multiple tubes, sometimes, it is no additional shipping charge, sometimes, it's a buck or two more. Whatever Canada Post charges + $1. Typical USA shipping is around $6 with insurance for 2 tubes. If you are local, then you can pick these up from me directly free of any shipping charges. Ebay forces me to put a $ amount to shipping for international. I will likely be cheaper than $12 for 2 tubes. I don't know yet until I go to the post office. I ship world wide as long as I can buy insurance for the destination country otherwise I won't ship there. If you want more pictures or have questions, please let me know.
