We are offering without reserve a beautiful Paris, France, demitasse souvenir spoon, dated 1890.

The spoon handle is highly detailed on both sides with a knight in armour, holding a lance and a shield . A banner with fleur de leis trails down to the gold washed bowl. The bowl is engraved with the word "Paris", 1890.

The spoon has two French hallmarks in the bowl. One is the silver guarantee mark and the other is an unidentified makers mark.

The spoon is in very good vintage condition with only a small degree of normal age related rubbing and overall it is in excellent shape. The decoration is crisp and well defined and the patina is soft, warm, and lustrous.
