is a very exquisite porcelain Breakfast or Shaving cup of Vieux Paris or Old Paris made for the English, American market. The very large cup measures 31/2 inch high by 5inches across including the handle. the top measures 41/4 inch across. This finely hand painted cup has sprays of flowers and leaves painted in great detail. The front says "To My Father" and this is why this is probably used for shaving. The cup is circa 1860- 90 year. T is some gold loss. The handle had been repaired and tfor, I recommend this be used for cabinet only or have a professional look at the handle. This does not detract from the gorgeous painting of great colors of cornflower blue burgundy Rose and greens. Truly I have seen many Old Paris and I think this cup is painted more elegantly and finer than most. Paypal only No Refunds.
