The Classic Pens CP series of limited editions offers the user more than just exquisite guilloche engravings. Each and every model in the series has been carefully selected not only for its quality, its history and pedigree and its design, but also for its writing performance. The CP series are the fruit of a positive working relationship between Classic Pens and international pen manufacturers. Each and every CP pen bears witness to the imaginative originality of Classic Pens and the fastidious craftsmanship of the distinguished French guillocher Murelli. It also demonstrates the technical precision and expertise of major international pen makers. In 1999, Classic Pens worked with Parker to customize the Duofold. Two complimentary variations of the the pen model were created and fully covered in sterling silver. The CP5 Vintage, with its straight form, celebrates the famous Lucky Curve Duofold pens of the 1920s. A distinctive circular engraving machine, dating from 1928, was re-activated from the museum of Murelli in France, exclusively for the guilloche engraving of the CP5 Vintage.
