Hi I'm James Parker and I am offering some mint in the box original Parker knives for auction. We just bought some store stock items still mint in the boxes after many years, a great find. Personal checks, money orders, and Pay Pal gladly accepted. TN residents pay 9.25% state sales tax. Winning bidder pays $6.25 for UPS or USPS Priority Mail Shipping with Insurance included in the Shipping price. Thanks.
This knife for auction is an extremely rare and mint in the original issue box Parker Special Factory Order knife. The were 3 exotic handle materials offered in the series of Southern Gentleman Congresses produced exclusively for Oz Cutlery in Newnan, GA. Oz was one of the biggest cutlery sellers in the Southeast and had Parker Cutlery build him a total of 300 pieces of this 3 1/2" 6 Blade Congress Knife. T were 3 handle materials available: Genuine Mother Of Pearl, Genuine Black Mother Of Pearl, and Genuine Fingerprint Abalone. These Oz Cutlery Congresses were produced in 1984 and these I am offering for auction are mint in the original issue box. The master Pen and Sheepfoot blades are both tang stamped with Oz Cutlery Newnan, GA and etched with "Southern Gentleman". The rear tangs of these blades are stamped with OZ 1-84. T were 100 each of this knife produced and this one for auction is serial numbered on the bolster with #055. This knife for auction features the stunning Genuine Black Mother Of Pearl scales. Back in 1984 Oz Cutlery sold these for $75.00 each, so what's it worth 22 years later? This is without a doubt one of the rarest Parker Cutlery knives ever produced; as a matter of fact, I had completely forgotten about this knife until we had a chance to purchase these. We bought these mint in the original issue boxes. This Parker Cutlery Black Mother Of Pearl Southern Gentleman 6 Blade Congress is mint in the original issue box (I'll also include a copy of the original sales sheet Oz Cutlery made up when these were new in 1984) and being offered at No Reserve. Thanks for your bids, we appreciate it.
