Parker octagon base convertible desk set, ca. 1930 with apple green striated pen and greenish turquoise enameled base and box. This is not a Duofold pen. Broad nib says Lucky Curve along the with normal verbiage. Barrel simply reads "Geo. S. Parker -pen- made in USA / Patented.The old bladder has been removed and pen cleaned. No new sac has been installed. Not likely it will be used again. No brassing on cap rings or loop at top. No cracks or gouges. The wear appears to be from ratlling around in the box. T a several small spots of lost enamel on the base, but do not detract from its overall appearance. The cap lip has no cracks but t is a small, 1/8" stress crack at the thread on the barrel.I do not know if it came as a set the the blind cap for the end of the pen barrel. If it did, it is not t This the convertible pen Parker features in the 30's that could be used from the pocket and then by screwing on the tail, be a desk pen. Duofolds also had this feature. Look at the pictures carefully and ask questions.All sales are final.
