Wonderfull vintage Parker Quink Shop refill station This item is very rare now and would be a great addition to any Parker collection. This is an early advertising item for Parker Quink inks and would sit on the counter top of a store selling pens and inks. It is made of Bakelite in the tradition of such items in these days and invited the customer to flush out his pen and refill it with Parker Quink, a breakthrough in inks at that time. The 'station' comprises two original glass containers one for water and the other for disposing of the flushed pen content before filling with Quink. On removing the top cover, you will see the original Parker glass ink bottle which has self levelling spouts for dispensing the Quink into the refill reservoir. This bottle is then filled and placed upside down onto the reservoir and the top cover replaced and secured with a metal clip. The customer, having flushed the pen, lifts the small lid between the two glass containers and fills the pen with Quink. The original glass bottle has all the markings on the base that you would expect and the Parker name emblazoned along each side. The item is very clean and in very good condition, with the exception of a small chip out of the bakelite on the bottom edge at the back and a hairline crack on the opposing side.
