PARKER VACUMATIC Vintage Fountain Pen Pencil Set 14K

This is a vintage Parker gold and black vacumatic fountain pen and mechanical pencil set. Both feature 14k gold filled caps and ends are trimmed in gold as well. The pen also has a blue diamond on the clip (see photo). Both items have the Parker name on the clip. This old pen has Geo. S. Parker Vacumatic Made in USA lightly inscribed on it a nd the pencil has the same, but without the Vacumatic part. This grand fountain pen is about 5 1/2" long while the mechanical pencil is around 5 1/8" long. The original hard shelled lined case appears to be 6 1/8"L x 3 "D x 1 1/8"H. For the most part, for its age, this set is in very good shape. I believe this set is an imperial vacumatic in golden laminated pearl and is very scarce. Everything about this scarce set is correct and original! Nice crisp Parker imprints on both pieces and the case. Nice squiggle pattern gold filled caps on both pieces and has initials E S in the indicia panels(see photo). The mechanical pencil works fine and the mechanism moves freely. The fountain pen may need a new diaghram, not sure, but it seems to work fine. The tip should be replaced on the fountain pen because one side of the silver tip is missing (see photo). the cap on the fountain pen has two small dents on it (see photo). The case that holds the set has a couple of small dents on the sides and has one scuff on the top, but overall it looks very nice. The instructions are very legible but has a couple of ink spots on it and the guarantee is printed on the other side. This collectible set is the perfect accent to any desk. Recently, two exactly like this set sold on eBay for $688.00 with a case and $499.00 without a case. Also those two auctions did not have the instructions with them.
