PARKER VP Red Front Shell and barrel set USA - Unused new old stock Spare Parts Description This is a matching front shell and barrel in red for a Parker VP fountain pen - ideal for refurbishment or renovation - and are unused, new-old-stock parts. These parts date from around 1962, USA production. The front shell has a contoured grip so that the nib could be positioned to suit the writer's preference, a design which was incorporated into the slighter later Parker 75 shell design. The barrel has the grey pearlescent plastic jewel. I can't remember where these shells and barrels came from - I think I bought a small quantity of them around 12 years ago at a pen show in the USA. We're continuing to have a minor sort out in our workshop, so more bits and pieces will be listed over the coming days and weeks. Before anyone asks, I do NOT have any unbroken VP filler units - they are all long gone! Unless we have stated so above, the item does not come with its original box or documents.
