these books that i have for sale are entitled..Par kman` s Works....frances parkman... a set of 10..a complete set. they are in lovely condition, all tight,together and very clean. previous owners name..a. maria harmon sept. 1890..written in beautiful victorian handwriting. the books have lovely frontice plates protected by tiss ue type pa per..as published. the books also have numerous maps some of which are fold out maps. cr 1865 and 1885.each book has a beauti ful decorative cover. they each measure about 7 3/4 x 5 inches with var ying numbers of pages. they all seem to be about the same thickness 1 1/2 inches. little,brow n and company publishers of boston 1889..though a three books have an 1888 pubished date. the titles are as follo ws: the pioneers of france in the new world, montcalm & wolfe, th e conspiracy of pontiac, the jesuits in north america, the oregon trail, the old regime in canada, la salle and the discovery of the great west, and frontenac & new france un der ouis XIV. a beautiful set of books for your reading pleasure or to make a beautiful display in your home. **PLEASE NOTE..I NEVER USE STOCK PHOTOGRAPHS FURNISHED BY EBAY..WHAT YOU SEE PICTURED..IS THE EXACT ITEM YOU WILL RECEIVE.
