Extremely Rare and Nice Example. Cast Iron Parlor Stove. This is Moore # 1357. This is pictured on page 126 of the book. Made in the Early 1900's by an unknown Manufacturer presumably as an incentive or gift for buying a stove. 6 7/8 x 2 3/4. Its book value is currently listed at up to $500 dollars for the bank. Pretty nice example, it has around 70% of the nickle plating left. This was bought from the Jane Pittman collection from a relative of hers in Indianola Ia, although I have no provenance of such. No cracks or repairs, just a really nice example. I am or have been a member of several Collector's clubs over the years. Hey, in today's current economy what else can you buy and anticipate getting your money back in a few days or years? These banks are from mine and my Fathers collections that span 60 to 70 years. I remember as a kid going to an auction
