Extremely Rare and Nice Example. Cast Iron Parlor Stove. This is Moore # 1357. This is pictured on page 126 of the book. Made in the Early 1900's by an unknown Manufacturer presumably as an incentive or gift for buying a stove. 6 7/8 x 2 3/4. Its book value is currently listed at up to $500 dollars for the bank. Pretty nice example, it has around 70% of the nickle plating left. This was bought from the Jane Pittman collection from a relative of hers in Indianola Ia, although I have no provenance of such. No cracks or repairs, just a really nice example. I am or have been a member of several Collector's clubs over the years. Even though I have learned alot over the past decades I don't know it all........did I just say that? Anyway, I am always open to further knowledge about this or any other bank you may have. I realize Ebay suggests you not put a Reserve on item's but am just trying to protect part of my investment. I believe the reserve to be fair and in some cases I will add a " buy it now price" up front. If I do not have a buy it now price and I already have a bid on the item, please do not ask.
