Up for auction is a Madame Alexander 1956 8" doll called the Parlour Maid. She is a bent knee walker, no cracks or smells - clean doll. Nicely strung too with walking working smoothly. She is a pretty doll with medium face coloring and good tone over her body. Her alexander-kins tagged outfit includes a little doiley hat with black velvet ribbon, a black taffeta dress that has square snaps in back and has organdy lace edged cuffs that match the trim on the precious organdy slip. Also included is an organdy slip and panties with MA lace trim. She also has nylon MA socks and black fuzzy bottom side snap shoes. Her outfit is correct and original MA. Her little duster is a vintage replacement. Nice doll - the only problem I see is that a little stain from the dress is on her torso - but hard to see - just mentioning it. She has a triple stitch blonde wig. Her taffeta dress looks to have never been washed and is in lovely condition. She has a little yellowing of the apron-pinafore and cuffs - not bad - just a little. Shipping cost is priced within the US. - this doll will be insured. International buyers will pay cost of shipping internationally plus $2. No guarantee of shipping is possible and if item is lost, no refund is given. However I will let you know when it is mailed and send proof if desired.
