Parsons Custom Drop Point Camp Knife/ Gent's Bowie. 10 1/2 inches Overall. Copper guard with white and copper spacers and copper lined laynard hole. The Handle is Tiger Striped Bloodwood and ehxibits a nice grain and color. The copper fittings really set off this knife and will get it noticed when you pull it out at your next camp out. The Blade is forged 5160 with a beautiful and sharp hamon (the line between the hard steel of the cutting edge and the softer steel of the spine). This hamon was brought about by clay hardening, a process w the spine of the knife is coated in fire brick clay and the quenched. A hamon is the mark of a first class heat treatment.
