This handsome and exceedingrare LP from Erato (DP 43-1, French pressing, white/green label, mono – no stereo edition exists) features the first issue of three legendary chamber music recordings, performances that arguably remain unsurpassed on disc, recorded in the warm acoustics of the Salle Adyar, Paris in February 1955 – true gramophone classics.
