Easter Sunday is just around the corner, so we took some of my mothers old unframed miniature paintings, and give them new life by adding sterling silver frames, in place of the frames that were missing or damaged beyond repair. Berta always gave a special gift to her convents on Easter Sunday, and we will continue to do that in her memory. This is one of those miniature paintings, and it is painted on both sides of a copper canvas. The painting is believed to have been painted by a nun, for a patron of her convent. This one is 2.5 inches long, and it weighs 38 grams. It was not cheep to have these paintings mounted in sterling silver, so please bid high if you want it. Good luck bidding!
