This is a 1/8 scale PVC figure of Patchouli Knowledge from the Touhou Project series. The figure is produced by Griffon Enterprises and is based on Patchouli's design in the Curiosities of Lotus Asia (Touhou Kourindou) book. In addition, this Patchouli is a rare variant color, limited to 300 pieces and originally released at Reitaisai 9 in Japan . As a limited convention exclusive, this particular color is difficult to find. To get her, I checked Yahoo Japan Auctions every day for about 2 months until I saw one listed. I've personally never seen one sell on ebay, and as of this writing, she is not listed on Yahoo Japan Auctions. There is one for sale on Amazon Japan, for a whopping 14,800 yen. I really like her colors and details, but I decided to sell her because my figure collection is getting a little too big.The standard release color features pale purple hair and a white dress, based on her colors in the book. On the other hand this variant has a richer purple hair and a light purple dress. I believe this color scheme is supposed to be based on Patchouli's colors in the original games.The figure is in excellent condition, and comes with her box. The box is dented on one corner: see photo. Patchouli comes from a smoke free home and has been dusted and displayed away from direct sunlight.Please feel free to ask me any questions.
