This is a watch dealer's display. It is not a retailed clock. It is purchased by authorized watch sellers through Braun Schweizer, SA for their watch showroom advertising. If you are not an authorized watch dealer, this item should be of no interest at all to you, unless you want to buy this for your own enjoyment. As the manufacturer is no longer producing this clock, it is becoming rarer year by year.
This is a used watch seller's displays that is no longer in use, but understand that this is an advertising display clock made for the authorized watch dealers. It is not a catalog item, and is not available for public purchase as a brand new clock through any retail sale. This is not a copy. It is the original Braun Schweizer display, and was not available to anyone but the watch dealers though, Braun Schweizer, the manufacturer. This clock is the equivalent to all of the 3rd party elegant indoor and outdoor plaques, hangings and signs used for advertising, promotion and display of the watches. Simply put, it is an elegant and very fancy showroom watch display clock manufactured in Germany , and intended for the use of the authorized watch sellers only. Any warranty that was attached to this clock when new was available to the authorized watch dealer only, and would no longer be valid. The clock is guaranteed to arrive in proper working order as described. Following, are the details on this magnificent clock:
Tfore, unless you are an authorized Patek Philippe watch seller, this wonderful clock should be of no interest to you at all. Although it is a precision made complicated timepiece that is fully functional and extremely accurate, it is strictly meant for in store advertising and decoration for the watch sellers. It cannot be purchased new by anyone but an authorized watch dealer, and should not be used for advertising the watch brand unless you are a factory authorized watch seller. If you are not a watch dealer, and choose to bid on this clock because you want it for it's unequaled seductiveness for personal use and/or decoration of your office or home, I just want it made clear that this is an advertising display clock, and is not part of the Patek Philippe retailed product line. This just happens to be the most fabulous wristwatch advertising display that you will ever lay your eyes on.
This one is so rare you might have never seen it before. It's not new; it's about 2 years old and doesn't come with the original box. This is a wall clock display for showrooms worldwide of the finest watch sellers. It's a promotional clock for advertising purposes only and you cannot buy one of these as they're not resale. This is a large wall clock display that measures just about 12 inches across, the brushed white gold toned bezel is about 1 inch wide and the dial is 9 1/2 inches in diameter and it's protected by a scratch free convex jeweler's glass crystal that is in near mint condition for its age. The sub dials and moon phase on this clock are NOT FUNCTIONAL, this is a display only which means ONLY the minutes and hour hands are functional. Even though it has some limitation it is gorgeous. The sub dial on the left is fixed at the Saturday position and the sub dial on the right hand side is fixed at the March position.
The clock is keeping accurate time, it has the Jurgen Bolsche Geneve Quartz regulated Calibre 5820 Swiss Made movement that requires one standard AA battery to functional that's not included in this auction. Now keep in mind that this clock is not brand new, it's pre-owned. It was legally imported from Europe approximately 1 year ago.
