RARE, collectible and very hard to get LIMITED EDITION 18K white gold Patek Philippe Ref #5125 retailed by WEMPE. Produced in 2003 to commemorate the 125th anniversary of Wempe. This watch is 90/125. The complications include automatic self-winding movement with triple date, moonphase with subsidiary dial that indicates day and night, annual calendar, water resistant with screw down crown. It has a German month & date indication. Silver matte dial with center seconds hand. 18K white gold deployant buckle. Sapphire display back and screw down case back. Original fitted box with white gold case back, commemorative sterling silver coin, setting stylus and certificate dated October 9, 2003. INNER/OUTER BOX & PAPERS included. Retail Price $26,980.00. Here is additional information from Wempe's website: A constructive cooperation, a perfect result: The very special W125 from Patek Philippe is only obtainable from Wempe in these four models. From the outside, it's a classical Calatrava-94-design, pared down to the essentials, yet its interior holds an innovative mechanical movement with a patented calendar. The renowned Geneva watchmaker redesigned the complex movement specially for Wempe. The days of the week, the months and the date appear in cut-outs in the face. A 24-hour hand rotates over the phases of the moon display, a feature of the W125 reminiscent of its legendary predecessors, which caused a sensation from 1942 onwards, regularly commanding top prices at auctions. The edition is limited to 125 in each of the following designs: yellow gold, rose gold and white gold. There are also 100 models in platinum. All have two casebacks: one of solid precious metal and one of sapphire crystal.
