THIS MEAT SLICER CAME FROM AND OLD FARM IN ERIE COUNTY, PA. IT WAS MADE BY ENTERPRISE MFG. CO. PAT.FEB. 9, 1870 & OCT. 5,1875 PHILADELPHIA. IT IS ALL CAST IRON WITH STEEL SCREW AND NUT AND OTHER SMALL METAL PARTS. IT STILL WORKS AS INTENDED. YOU SET THE PAWL TO THE THICKNESS OF SLICE YOU WANT AND PICK-UP AND PUSH DOWN ON THE SWING ARM. THE SWING ARM HAS A KNIFE ON THE BOTTOM. THE MOTION ADVANCES THE MEAT ALONG THE VEE TROUGH THAT SHOWS IN THE PICTURES. THIS IS A VERY RARE TOOL !!!!!!! SHIPPING IN THE CONTINENTAL U.S.A.
