How fun is this? I have a one-of-a-kind ornament still new in the box. There are no other bright Christmas red Saint Barbara ornaments. Saint Barbara was a limited edition Patricia Breen ornament made exclusively for the Bill Cornfield Gallery in 1999. They were made in burgundy, blue or pearl with glitter. Saint Barbara, the patron saint of architects, holds the tools of her trade. She was designed as a California golden girl with long blond hair standing on the historic Santa Barbara Courthouse. Saint Barbara is 7 1/2" tall and 2 1/8" wide at her glittered base. In 1999 the regular ornaments sold for $75.00, but only if you were shopping at Cornfield's in Montecito, an unincorporated part of Santa Barbara. This one, of course, was a special presentation version, priceless. This Saint Barbara is still new in her original box and was sealed in her plastic bag. I opened the bag for photography. She has been stored away so carefully there is no glitter loose in the bag. She still has her original gift tag with the story of Patricia Breen"s handmade ornaments.
