Fantastic book for the Antique quilt collector. Long out of print and written by the renown Antique quilt experts Robert Bishop, Director of the Museum of American Folk Art and co-author Carter Houck, Historian and Editor. This book has lots of photos of Historic Patriotic quilts as expressions of Liberty. Loads of educational information to help determine the dating and fabrics in our Antique treasurers. T seems to have been waves of Patriotism at certain times or specific themes that appealed to quilters. This copy is a previous library book but is in very good used condition. I love attending estate and tag sales to find primitive treasurers to sale to you. I am not an antique dealer and have limited knowledge but do my best to describe my finds to the best of my abilities. If you have questions please ask before bidding.
