description "PATSYETTE" COMPOSITION DOLL - EFFANBEE This darling Effanbee Patsyette doll is all composition with jointed head, arms and legs. Doll has perfect painted facial features with light brown eyes. Her blond mohair wig is done up in braids. Hair is soft. Doll wears it's original outfit, a red calico dress with attached shorts underneath. Over her dress is a sheer muslin apron. She wears mercerized socks and black oil cloth shoes which have buckled bows on the toes and tie in the center . She wears her o riginal Effanbee metal ID bracelet which says: "EFFANBEE DURABLE DOLLS". According to the book, "Doll Values" Patsyette dolls were made in the 1930's. This doll's dress had a tag on the back with the NRA logo dating her to WWII era. Unfortunately the tag virtually disintegrated when I tried to undress her for photos. I stopped immediately. Buyer will receive the remains of the tag with the doll (see Photo). Doll is 9" tall. Clearly emboss marked on her back: "EFFANBEE, PATSYETTE DOLL". This cute doll is in very nice condition. NO crazing. Only two small cracks and a chip on her arm. No scuffs or rubs, no restoration. No damage to her hands, all fingers intact.
