Patterson's Tuxedo Tobacco Jar Offered for bid is Grandpa's Glass Tobacco Jar ORIGINAL PAPER PRODUCT LABELS ON 3 SIDES OF THE JAR 2 labels have some wear with ripped edges 1 label is is great condition ORIGINAL PAPER "TAX PAID STAMP" on 4th SIDE OF THE JAR 1" x 4 1/2" strip - #14 on stamp strip is loosely hanging onto the jar TOBACCO JAR BOTTOM Original paper stamp on bottom of jar:"Factory 27 5th Dist, State of KY Notice- The manufacture of this tobacco has complied with requirement of the law.Every person is causioned under the penalties of law not to use this package for tobacco again" TOBACCO JAR DIMENSIONS Approximate size: 7" high x 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" JAR LID 2 wire clips hold the lid on emlossed on the inside of the lid is:"Patented August 28 1900 other Patents Pending" Cork ring around lid has been replaced Hairline crack on the edge This vintage glass tobacco jar is in good shape for its age...except...
