Most of my pieces were purchased from Warrens studio in Stillwater Minnesota.Paul Dresang has been a professor of Art and Design at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, IL. He spends his summers firing his wood kiln in the country in Wisconsin, adjacent to his home state of Minnesota. His functional ascetic comes, in part, from his years as a grad student under Warren MacKenzie's tutelage. Paul certainly prescribes to Warren's way of pricing. He obviously enjoys making pots for use, yet , he is more formally known for his trompe L'oeil sculpture. He makes fancy Tea pots, highly decorated and soda fired. He so succinctly states: "a sculpture may help to inform you about your political leaders robbing you, and a bowl may help you eat while you weep."This is just one piece of my large collection. read more
