Paul McCartney and George Martin Signed Limited Edition "Yesterday for Montserrat" Lithograph in Original Framed Display, with COA. A 20" x 14.5" (sight size) two-sided lithographic reproduction of the original George Martin score for the Beatle song "Yesterday," signed in pencil at lower right: "Paul McCartney" and "George Martin", and numbered at lower left "412/500". The following text is imprinted on the mat: "Yesterday Score for String Quartet Arranged by George Martin for the Beatles Recording on the 17th June 1965". It is double matted and custom-framed to an overall 28.5" x 24"; the frames were designed and crafted by David Linley, son of Princess Margaret. These lithographs were sold to raise funds for The Sir George Martin Music Foundation to aid the Caribbean island of Montserrat, devastated in June 1997 when the Soufriere Hills Volcano erupted, killing nineteen people. All proceeds went towards the building of a new cultural and community center to help the re-generation of the island.
