AWESOME, TOTALLY RESTORED THREE DRAWER CHEST WITH HIGHLY DESIRABLE ALUMINUM RING PULLS A ND NATURAL FINISH What you are seeing is a three drawer chest designed by Paul McCobb and manufactured by Winchendon in the 1950's. This chest is constructed of solid Canadian birch (no veneering). This piece has been carefully and meticulously restored to original specifications. This chest was originally available in a natural finish. This piece has been completely stripped/sanded (see photos). The feet and pulls were removed and it was sealed and sprayed with a semi gloss/gloss clear finish. When the finish spraying was completed, we followed up with a final sanding and high speed buffing to remove any nibs, imperfections, etc. The top has a mirror, piano like finish. The back was in such nice shape we even sprayed and finished it. No small detail has been overlooked. T he refinishing process has brought the birch back to life revealing all the birds eyes and glowing contrasting tones. The aluminum ring pulls have been removed and hand polished with a professional grade metal polish restoring them back to their original lustre and shine. This piece is offered at NO RESERVE! The piece is stamped #82 on the back cover and all three drawers are also stamped with #82. Don't let this one pass you by!
