Here we have a quite exceptional 76 PIECE KINGS pattern canteen of solid silver cutlery for 12 place settings.Hallmarks are deep and clear to all pieces. This extensive set is of exceptional quality and is a most impressive huge suite of table silver.Weight of actual silver is a staggering 4620 grams (148.55 troy ounces)!!Please note that this weight does NOT include the weight of the quite superb 24 hard soldered solid silver handled knives-the silver weight of their handles alone must amount to over 24 troy ounces for sure. Each silver piece is made of thick gauge silver throughout. All pieces are assayed in Sheffield,1976 by high quality makers Payne & Son of Oxford.Year letter B. Comprises: 12 dessert spoons-7.5 inches in length-996 grams combined 12 dessert forks-7.375 inches in length-924 grams combined 4 serving spoons-9.125 inches in length-552 grams combined 12 dinner forks-8.125 inches in length-1176 grams combined 12 soup spoons-7.25 inches in length-972 grams combined ALL THE ABOVE 52 PIECES ARE VERY HEAVY GAUGE ITEMS-especially the serving spoons which are a ridiculous 138 grams each!
