Offered is a good honest old 2 piece hollow working decoy with original inletted lead weight . The decoy appears to be mostly in original paint with bill touch ups. The decoy has a low tail with slight rounding off the end.T is a steep smooth rise from the tail to the back. The head is thick and upright with a short neck. The bill has light carving at the face. The bill has a slice out at the tip and underneath at the right side as shown. T is a slice off the bill on the left side that appears to be in the making.. The decoy has rounded tack eyes set high and back of his head.The tack eyes have a black painted line over them. The decoy is 13.5" long, 7" tall and 4.5" across. The decoy is attributed to Mark Kears who was from Northfield in Atlantic county. It is from the early part of the 1900's. Please ask any questions before you bid and allow 24 hours for a reply.
