Hi! Up for bids is a very rare John Hasselbring sterling silver 6 piece bar set with its original cloth lined wooden box! This set includes: Ice breaker- or Pestle - w/stainless end- (3rd pic), Handled Double Jigger, Bottle Opener - w/stainless opener, Cork Screw w/sterling handle (7th pic), Ice Pick w/stainless pick, and a long Cocktail Stirring Spoon. The jigger, bottle opener, ice pick, and cocktail spoon are all marked "10 Sterling" then they have the shield shape with the capital "H" inside and the date "1890". The pestle is marked with "JH" between 2 wishbones and "Sterling 10", and the corkscrew w/ stainless body is marked on the handle "JH" between what looks like an arrow and an X, then "Sterling 10 I". These pieces are all in excellent lightly used condition! John Hasselbring made beautiful silver pieces, as well as other fine products from 1890 until 1950 and then the company was absorbed into Crown Silver Inc. Today, because of the excellent workmanship that went into each piece, they are still quite valuable! The box is structurally tight and the latches work very well. T are a few minor scratches on the outside, but they do not effect the beauty of this case! The inside cloth material is practically flawless with no visible rips, stains, or tears!
