Precsion Craft Models first release of the Reading T1 4-8-4. My dad took me on my first Iron Horse Ramble back in 1959. Motive power was 2124. As many of us know 2124 was the first of the Reading T1s to be used in excursion service. She was also the first to be retired in 1961.Of the four surviving T1s she is the only one to never see service after the Reading ended the Rambles. She now resides in Steamtown in rather poor condition. The model pictured is the one you are bidding on.. This version comes WITHOUT sound and is DCC ready. I don't believe it will run on DC. I do not have a layout so this engine has absolutely no running time. It has sat on the mantle for the past few years. Since I have a duplicate with sound I am offering this one at a very reasonable opening bid. Includes box and all instructions. Thanks for looking Upon testing on a short lead track this engine will run on DC. I have the description backwards. It is DCC ready.I don't have a DCC decoder so I have no way of determining if it runs on DCC at the moment. Sorry for the confusion. You mat want to ask Broadway Limited for further explaination. The model number is 595 on the box.
