This auction is for a very nice complete set of Peace Dollars PLUS 3 additional coins, all neatly set in a clean Library of Coins album. The Peace Dollar set consists of the normal 24 coins plus a key date 1921, 1928-S, and 1935-S. I have kept them locked away for the past several decades after buying the set from the original collector. Tough times force me to sell these fine ladies. What's a Peace Dollar set worth? With silver prices skyrocketing, the "melt value" of even the least collectibles of the set has almost tripled since 2007. currently shows the value of Good-4 grades to be between $29 and $37, and a premium for the 1921, 1924-S, 1927, 1927-S, 1927-D, 1928, 1928-S, and 1934-S. (This collection has TWO 1921's and TWO 1928-S coins.) Conservatively grading prices this set out at well over $1500 and that would be if none of the key dates grades at above a VF-30. You can see from the photo that several of these are arguably XF-40 or better ("hair lines over brow and ear are strong"), especially the key date 1928! I am not a coin dealer and I am not grading these coins. Please see the close-up photo for more details and judge for yourself. I would be glad to email you additional photos if so required. Be assured these coins and this album are very clean and have been in a smoke-free environment. At 90% silver content, these coins will do nothing but appreciate and the melt value will continue to climb. Note that 27 Peace Dollars already has a silver content value of about $800 at today's silver prices. I have been an eBay member for over 11 years so buy with confidence. The $15 shipping and handling goes toward priority mailing, signature confirmation, and insurance for the auction price. I'll package it safely and you will be proud of this very nice set!
