PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) Commissioning Ceremony This item is the Commission Ceremony booklet for the USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). The Commissioning occurred on July 12, 2003 in Norfolk , Virginia . The program measures 8 ½" by 10 ¾" with 232 pages. The carrier is named in honor of America 's 40th president Ronald Reagan. The booklet covers naval aviation, carrier deployment, while also describing the vastly complex construction process that goes into manufacturing the world's most complex product. T is a comprehensive history of naval aviation with a timeline to the present day. Included with the booklet is the Commissioning Activity Book given to children (unmarked), a Official Pass Ticket to the commissioning and two Invitations to the All Hands Commissioning Worship Service that was held aboard the ship the next day. The book is in fine condition. The pages intact and appear unmarked. The cover has some slight surface wear from storage.
