I am so excited. The whole family is sleeping and I get to list this fantabulous fabric. I think I may need to get out more. This is a medium weight meisen silk with peacocks in all the Japanese motifs. how much better can one piece of fabric get? The design is woven in. Unbelievable!! and t is a little bit of embroidery on the birds. The back is a negative of the front except w the threads are exposed from the embroidery of the birds. The bird at the top is a peacock. What are the two birds at the bottom??? They are female peacocks. I got me a college degree from VA TECH. Go hokies!!! You are bidding on 13.5"x58" The picture was taken without flash but the fabric is slightly darker than the photo suggests. Shipping from Japan to America, Europe and Oceania airmail will cost US$3.50. We will do what we can to combine shipping for multiple purchases.We try to ship everyday except on weekends and national holidays. Our fabric comes from new and used Japanese kimono and yukata. The fabric has been picked but the threads have not been removed and we DO NOT iron. We apologize for not ironing, but do not apologize for not wanting to. T will always be pinholes from w the stitching has been removed (unless it says new) we check our fabric for stains and holes but as we have not yet fully come into our superhero powers, some may slip past us.
