Measures 12" X 6" Proudly Made In the USA Beautifully embossed, raised lettering 4 Pre-Drilled holes for easy mounting Officially licensed by Peanuts Worldwide LLC This whimsical license plate sign is great for decorating your car, home, or office. It sports Snoopy, all decked out in his turtleneck sweater and shades, as JOE COOL. Snoopy is chilling on comic strip black and white and is leaning on the black border accent. The license reads in bold, red lettering, "JOE COOL." Charles Schulz introduced the world to PEANUTS, the most beloved comic strip of all time, on October 2, 1950, in 7 newspapers nationally. By 1970, Schulz and the PEANUTS had won Emmy and Peabody awards for 5 television specials and had launched the off-Broadway musical, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, which has gone on to become the most-produced musical in America. From the time the strip began, until the day Schulz retired almost 50 years later, in December 1999, he had drawn every one of the 18,000 PEANUTS comic strips himself. Sadly, Charles Schulz died on February 12, 2000, just hours before the final PEANUTS Sunday strip appeared in newspapers around the world.
