Pearl Signature Chad Smith 14”x 5" Snare Drum For auction is my fantastic Pearl Chad Smith Signature snare drum. 14” x 5" black nickel plated steel snare drum with pearl superhoops. This drum sounds incredible with great rim shots, ghost notes and can be very LOUD if hit hard. Really cuts through every other drum and other instruments. Great tuning range and can be set up to play low for rock or cranked up high for pop and funk. Tuning has always been a nightmare for me in the past until I got this drum, seriously it sounds fantastic and I have no need to use moon gel or any dampening. I’ve even had neighbours come and complement me on my snare!! I have owned this drum for about 18 months when I purchased it new and it has been very well looked after. Regularly cleaned and re skinned, never gigged or bashed about and only used in a practice environment. This drum is in A1 condition as the photographs show. The drum will dispatch to the lucky auction winner with a Remo Coated Ambassador on the batter side and a Remo Hazy Ambassador on the snare side. True Tone (DW) snare wires are also fitted. The snare side skin had been used but had plenty of life left in it.
