This is a Pecten langfordi that is 26.1mm (maximum dimension) in Gem condition. Sunrise shell.- Exceptional dark red color on the outside and with a dark and glossy inside.- This is a whole, natural pair. One side is always the "yellow" and the other the "red".- These hard to get deep water shells are highly prized both as specimen shells and for jewelry.- The whole shells are always hard to get.- Outstanding specimen.Found on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Endemic Hawaiian shell. Collection data provided with the shell. White spots on the shell are from the camera.
