This hammer stone fall was seen over many states in the east coast region of the US during the height of the high school football season. As a result this allowed many spectators in the community and region to video tape the fall that was captured by more the 17 individuals. To top off, the Peekskill meteorite hit a car parked in a driveway in the town of Peekskill, making this meteorite fall a media sensation over nights.
