This is the 1994 edition of Pelikan's limited production pens commemorating the sport of hunting. 3000 pens were produced worldwide and this is number 2147, engraved on the clip ring. The pen is a dark hunter green vegetal resin with chased hunting motifs. The 18K gold medium two-tone nib is very smooth. Pelikan pens are invariably love at first stroke. The German craftsmanship is evident as soon as you heft this pen. Of Pelikan's limited edition pens, the hunting pen is probably the most sought after. Over the last ten years I have sold a few to Safari Club members and hunting enthusiasts. This is one pen I am constantly asked for. I just can't find them in the condition I demand. This pen is in perfect condition. It has been dipped but never filled. It has the original hardwood box, all papers and the outer cardboard box. As ususal, a modest starting bid and No Reserve.
