This lovely heirloom box is made of richly finished hardwood with a 6"x66" porcelain insert painted in enamels. The image refers to the legend of the Corgi as the mounts of faeries. The little faerie and Corgi are surrounded by morning glories. For sale by the artist, Nan Kilgore Little of Little Works Studio . Very original one-of-a-kind piece, it is signed by the artist and come registered with a certificate of authenticity.

Nan Kilgore Little studied at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. Her paintings are influenced by the full range of art history while developing a very unique personal style. The artist works in a range of media from watercolor to bronze. Paintings exhibit a particular luminescent manner by implementation of multiple layers of translucent colors. This quality is also apparent in her miniature paintings with her jewelry and Objets d'Art pieces. Nan's work has been collected all over the United States and abroad. She has been published in books and many specialty breed periodicals. She is a member artist of the AKC Museum of the Dog Artist Registry with a featured exibition in the summer of 2006. She and her husband, Jonathan, together built an art business, Little Works Studio providing custom fine art and graphics in a wide range of media.
