New in the box MTH 30-2574 Pennsylvaina Railroad Operating Hand Car Track inspections often require a close-up view that only a worker can do. Getting out on the rails via a hand pump driven car was the only way to do so back in the earliest days of the railroad. Eventually track inspection cars came along to replace the human motors.The RailKing handcar features two track workers pumping the handle up and down to get the car rolling. The faster they pump, the faster the car goes. The unit operates on any O Gauge track system and features an Automatic Bumper Reversing Mechansim (ABRM) that changes the car's direction when it hits a track bumper.
